Inside a 2.5 Million-Dollar Luxury RV

Marathon Coach is the world’s largest luxury bus converter, and they produce 20 to 24 units per year. We saw the craftsmanship of these luxurious motorhomes when we visited the Marathon Coach headquarters in Oregon.

The Marathon Coach starts with a Primo commercial stainless-steel bus chassis (left). It's not just a base and floor structure; it’s the framing for the entire unit. This is made for thousands of miles on the road.

This rolling work of art is highly customizable, making every coach unique. Each coach has a 500 horsepower Volvo diesel engine. They can weigh over 50,000 pounds and tow up to 20,000 pounds.

The luxury home comes with storage bays that have heavy-duty sliding trays. The coach is equipped with a 20-kilowatt ultra-quiet diesel generator that you can start from the cockpit. It also has a huge flat-screen TV neatly tucked away for outdoor entertainment. You can also access several touchpads allowing you to control everything, from lighting and awnings to climate.

In this gorgeous home, you can access sewer and power at the touch of a button. Marathon guts the cockpit Prevost used to get the chassis to Coburg and turns it into something that could belong on a jet.

This coach is the ultimate luxury. The fit and finish of a Marathon are second to none. It has alabaster and ceramic tiles, custom leather, incredible locking systems, home automation, and a flat-screen TV.

The kitchen is beyond incredible! It has a full-size residential microwave neatly concealed behind custom cabinets, an induction cooktop with an automated backsplash, a large refrigerator and freezer, and a wine cooler. The features and appliances in the Marathon Coach are the embodiment of luxury.

The dining area has the atmosphere of a high-end restaurant, with huge windows fit for a drive by the ocean. This coach has two bathrooms with beautiful lighting, but the best part may be the doors, which are straight out of a sci-fi film. The shower consists of dual showerheads, including a rainfall showerhead.

The luxury motorhome offers a lot of privacy for couples. The main bedroom has a sliding door and a separate bathroom.

The main bedroom has all the comforts of home, including a huge flat-screen TV and an adjustable king size bed. There are also numerous deep drawers, cabinet space, and a walk-in closet with sliding doors. Inside the closet is a premium sound system providing music to the entire coach and a stackable washer and dryer.

As always, we can't wait to share more adventures with you.
