Top 4 RV Parks on Rogue River

South Oregon is a great RV and travel destination, especially if you love water activities. A trip to South Oregon is even better if you stay on the Rogue River because it’s centrally located in and around Grants Pass.

The Rogue River grants you access to the Hellgate boat tours, white water rafting, and tubing. The river is also a great place to swim or fish. It’s well-known for its salmon fishing. Away from the river, you can attend fun events like the Oregon Shakespeare festival in Ashland.

When camping at Rogue River, you’re within a couple of hours off Crater Lake and Lake of the Woods, both of which are beautiful. Rogue River is also not that far from the coast.

So, if you’re looking for a centrally located place to stay, consider staying at one of these RV Parks on the Rogue River:

Schroeder Park

Schroeder has 22 sites, including full hookup sites. The sites are a little closer than you might find in a state park, but you have a good space. Schroeder Park also has a boat ramp.

If you’re looking for a great space where you can easily access fishing, boating, plus some great open space, this is a great place to stay.

River Park RV resort

This resort has 47 full hookup sites with 30 Amp – 50 Amp service at every site. There are several spots that will accommodate big rigs, and some spots are right on the river.

The river is accessible for both swimming and fishing right from the park. The sites are close together, and the park is quite small. So, this is our least favorite of the parks we’re recommending. But it’s on the river, and it gets the job done.

 Indian Mary Park

They have 60 sites at Indian Mary Park. 10 of them only have partial hookups and the other 50 have full electrical hookups. Indian Mary Park is both gorgeous and accessible

If you have a large group you’re meeting up with, there are some great spaces where you can have big gatherings. It’s by the river, so it’s beautiful, peaceful, and quiet.

Right up the road from the park is Hellgate Canyon, which is one of the most gorgeous places I’ve ever seen. There’s also a beautiful sprawling park where you can run, take a walk, or have a picnic. You’re not sitting right on the river, but you’ve got access to the river with your camp chair and your RV.

Griffin Park

This is our favorite park because it has lot of open space. There are 14 full hookup sites, one of which has a 50 Amp power tip. All the sites have a view of the river. There’s a boat ramp, river access for both fishing and swimming, horseshoe pits, and even volleyball. If you can get into Griffin Park, you totally want to stay there.

As always, we can’t wait to share more of our adventures with you.
